STEP 1 LIFT by OKO Lash&Brow is a reliable product to begin your lash and brow lamination treatment. It’s the first essential step in styling lashes and brows.
How Does OKO STEP 1 LIFT Work?
The lash lamination process begins by softening the hairs by loosening the disulphide bonds within the lash and brow structure, allowing the active ingredients to penetrate more deeply. OKO STEP 1 Lift achieves this thanks to its alkaline pH.
OKO STEP 1 LIFT – Why It’s Worth It:
- The product can be used with or without cling film – for hairs that are difficult to style (e.g. curly), cling film speeds up the process.
- Highly efficient – one sachet is enough for up to 4–5 lash applications or 3–4 brow stylings.

How to Perform Lash Lamination with OKO LIFT Products?
- Before starting, assess whether the hairs are porous, medium-porous, or very porous. This will determine how long the lash/brow lamination products should stay on the hairs.
- Remove any makeup residue using micellar water or an eye makeup remover.
- Degrease lashes/brows with any foaming shampoo or a saline solution.
- Apply №1 OKO LIFT to the lashes/brows using a synthetic brush or microbrush. For lash lamination, apply the product to the most convex part of the silicone shield. Spread the product evenly in a thin layer on the hairs. Try to minimise skin contact. You may cover the applied product with cling film, although OKO LIFT products do not require it. Leave the product on the brows or lashes for 6 to 13 minutes depending on hair type and the recommendations below. Check the condition of the hairs every 3–4 minutes. After the exposure time, most of the product will be absorbed and the hairs will become more pliable for styling. After the processing time, gently remove the product with a dry cotton pad.
- The next step is to apply and spread the No. 2 OKO FIX product. At this stage, you can adjust the direction of the hairs on the shield. You do not need to use cling film. The exposure time for product No. 2 is 5 to 12 minutes. After this time, remove any residue with a dry cotton pad. The fixing stage restores the bonds within the hairs. Do not shorten the exposure time for product No. 2.
- The time between removing OKO STEP 2 FIX and applying the OKO STEP 3 CARE product is the perfect moment for any corrections or tinting of brows or lashes.
- Apply OKO STEP 3 to the lashes/brows and leave it on the hairs. This product does not require rinsing.

Storage and disposal: After use, seal the sachet tightly to avoid contact with air. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Dispose of the sachet only when completely empty. Dispose of in accordance with the regulations in your country.
