What is the Treatment Process?
Two hours to lie back in bed, eyes closed being pampered, what’s not to love? It’s essential to take time out of any busy schedule for self-care, and an eyelash appointment is exactly that. There are several stages to a lash appointment: evaluation, selection, cleaning, preparation, treatment, drying and removal of prep work. Your stylist should explain the pros and cons of lashes and ask you if you have any relevant medical conditions or allergies. After you have discussed with your stylist your ideal lashes, make sure you are completely happy with your selection! They will begin to cleanse the preparation area around your eyes.
Your lower lashes will be kept out of the way with a pad and some medical grade tape, and your stylist will begin treatment. They will glue each individual lash one by one to your lashes—it’s important not to move or open your eyes during this section as your stylist will be using tweezers close to your eyes! After treatment, your lashes will be left to dry for around ten minutes. This ensures that your new lashes are fully bonded. Finally your stylist will remove the preparation work (the pads and tape) and have you slowly opened your eyes. This is when you can see the result!
