Do Volume Lashes Damage Natural Lashes? - Facts and Myths
Many people believe that applying a large number of lashes damages the natural lashes and puts too much strain on them. Learn what the volume method is really all about.

For volume methods, we use lash thicknesses of 0.05, 0.07, and up to 0.1. There is a common belief that a single lash with a thickness of 0.15 is lighter than, for example, two lashes of 0.1. But that’s not true. It’s simple physics.

Fans or the 1:1 Method?
First of all, it's important to remember that you can't just multiply thicknesses. When looking at the lash diameter, it becomes clear that you can fit about 4 lashes of 0.07 into one lash of 0.15.
Another factor is the distribution of weight. With a fan, the weight is distributed differently than with the 1:1 method. Thanks to the even distribution of weight, volume lashes don’t overly burden the natural lashes. It’s worth remembering that in the 2D and 3D methods, you can use lashes with a thickness of 0.1. However, for denser applications, thinner lashes should be used.
