Dry, thin, or sensitive skin requires gentler materials that do not cause redness or pulling. To accurately match the tape to the client’s needs and your work technique, consider the following factors:

1. Material – high-quality tape is made of hypoallergenic silicone, foam, or nonwoven fabric. Choose a material that will not irritate the skin.
2. Breathability – breathable tapes are more comfortable and minimize the risk of irritation.
3. Thickness and flexibility – thin, flexible tapes adapt better to the shape of the eye.
4. Adhesive – choose a tape with gentle adhesive that can be removed easily and leaves no residue on the skin.
