OKO STEP 1 LIFT – Hair Opening Step in Eyelash and Eyebrow Lamination

OKO STEP 1 LIFT is the first step of the eyelash lamination or long-lasting eyebrow styling treatment, responsible for loosening the hair structure. It works in an alkaline environment and breaks disulfide bonds, allowing active ingredients to penetrate deeply and preparing the hairs for the following steps of the treatment.

How to Use:

1. Before starting the treatment, properly assess the structure and condition of the hairs. They can be porous, medium porous, or very porous. Exposure time depends on this classification.
2. Remove makeup residues with micellar water or eye makeup remover.
3. Degrease eyelashes/eyebrows with any foaming shampoo or saline solution.
4. Apply OKO STEP 1 LIFT to eyelashes/eyebrows using a synthetic brush or microbrush. For eyelash lamination, apply the product at the curl point of the rod (the most convex part). Spread the product evenly in a thin layer on the hairs, avoiding contact with the skin as much as possible. Can be applied with or without foil. Exposure time is 6 to 13 minutes. The maximum exposure time should not exceed the recommended time for the hair type. Check the hair condition every 3–4 minutes. The hair should absorb the ingredients and become more manageable. After the exposure time, carefully remove the product with a dry cotton pad.
5. Apply and spread product no. 2 OKO FIX evenly. Support the styling of the hairs in the desired direction. Can be used with or without foil. Exposure time for product no. 2 is 5 to 12 minutes. After this time, remove the product with a dry cotton pad. The fixing step restores the disulfide bonds in the hair. The exposure time for product no. 2 must not be shortened.
6. After product no. 2 and before applying product no. 3, you may perform eyebrow correction and tinting of eyebrows or eyelashes.
7. Apply product no. 3 to the eyelashes/eyebrows. The third step does not require rinsing and remains on the hairs.
