If your clients are complaining about having to apply mascara to their eyelashes and fill their eyebrows every morning, tinting could be the perfect solution for them. Tinting is a simple, semi-permanent treatment that dramatically improves the appearance of both eyelashes and eyebrows using a natural dye - henna. In the case of tinting, start by doing a quick patch test to find out if the skin reacts to the dye or not. If there is a reaction, it is best not to use that dye.

Some women struggle with keeping their eyes closed, which can also be a contraindication for the treatment. The dye needs to set properly, and while it only takes between 5 and 10 minutes, your client’s eyes must be closed during the entirety of that time. After the treatment, make sure your client stays away from water for at least 12 hours to let the dye settle in. If they wear lenses, advise them to leave them out at least until the next day or use glasses.
