In traditional lash geometry taught during eyelash extension courses, a classic volume fan must meet specific technical criteria:

✔ Fan width: the distance between the outermost lashes in the fan should not exceed 3 mm,
✔ Even spacing: the gap between individual lash fibers should be a maximum of 1.5 mm (for higher volumes, this space decreases accordingly),
✔ Flawless base: seamless, slim, and securely bonded with adhesive up to 1/3 of the fan’s height.

This structure works perfectly for classic, fluffy volume sets. However, it is worth remembering that modern lash fans also come in more artistic, textured forms!
