UV Lash Extension Course
On 28 June at the Airport Okęcie Hotel in Warsaw, numerous Noble Lashes instructors gathered to deepen their knowledge about lash styling using UV technology.
Where to start learning the UV lash extension method?
The training was conducted by Instructor Katarzyna Barth @wizaz_barth, who first introduced our instructors to the topic with a theory session, including a presentation and a detailed explanation of the UV method. The attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions.
Frequently asked questions about UV lash extensions
- How long do UV lashes last? – UV-cured glue is resistant to changing weather conditions and lasts about 6–8 weeks on the eyes. Many stylists, however, recommend infills every 3–4 weeks to keep the look flawless.
- Is UV light safe for the eyes? – Direct UV rays on the eyeball can be harmful, which is why the UV Lashes kit includes all the necessary accessories to protect both the client’s and the stylist’s eyes during the treatment.
- How to protect eyes from UV radiation? – The most important aspect of UV lash extensions is following the instructions and properly protecting the eyes. Always use protective tapes to shield the client’s eyelids, and wear protective glasses for your own safety.
- How soon after UV lash extensions can I go to a solarium/swimming pool/sauna? – UV-cured glue is resistant to moisture and temperature changes, which means you can use the sauna, swimming pool or solarium immediately after the lash styling treatment.
UV Lash Extensions – practice makes perfect
After the theory part, each participant received a gift pack with a UV lamp and accessories. The instructors then had the opportunity to test the lamp during the practical part of the training. Each participant could apply lashes on a model’s eye.
