What UV lamps are available on the market?
With the growing popularity of UV technology, new types of UV lash extension lamps have started appearing on the market. Currently, you can find stationary lamps, headlamps, tweezer attachments, and lamps that can be worn on the stylist’s wrist.
To best meet the needs of lash artists, we listen to the opinions of our trainers. That’s why we offer a stationary lamp — combining convenience, stability and comfortable working conditions.
Why choose the stationary lamp from Noble Lashes?
- Stable – Thanks to its wide base, the lamp stays stable
- Mobile – The base of the lamp has wheels so you can move it during treatments effortlessly and quietly, and the rotating arm lets you position it in the most comfortable way.
- Comfortable to use – Activated by a quiet foot pedal, so it doesn’t require your hands.
- Adjustable light – The lamp comes with an interchangeable lens which lets you adjust the light beam to small, medium, or large.
- Replaceable head – One head allows you to perform around 37,500 treatments, after which you can easily replace just the head.
- Safety – The Noble Lashes UV lamp is certified for safety and complies with EU, CE and RoHS standards.
What to look out for when choosing a UV lamp?
The type of UV lamp you choose — stationary, handheld or a small torch — depends on your comfort. However, to ensure it does its job properly and cures the adhesive effectively, you should remember a few key features.
- Lamp power: To cure quickly and effectively, the lamp should have a light wavelength in the range of 395–400 nm
- Light intensity: The lamp should allow you to adjust the beam strength, from strong to more diffused.
- Size of the lamp: It’s important that the arm of the stationary lamp is flexible and long enough to reach both of the client’s eyes.
- Type of lamp: There’s increasing talk about UV lamps with white light instead of purple. Some say they’re gentler on the eyes, while others simply prefer working with white light.
White or purple light in a UV lamp?
Lamps with white light instead of purple have been designed to be gentler on the eyes; which light colour you choose depends on your personal preference. The main difference, however, is the curing time — with purple light, curing happens almost instantly, significantly speeding up the lash artist’s work. White light should be held on the lash cluster for about 1–2 seconds, making it more suitable for beginner artists, helping to avoid major mistakes.
At Noble Lashes, we want you to have options, so a version with a white light beam will be launched soon.

How to work with a UV lamp?
- Connect all lamp elements according to the instructions.
- Use the adapter from the set to plug the lamp into the mains.
- Position the lamp head about 15–20 cm from the client’s face.
- To activate the light in the lamp, press the pedal and wait 1 to 4 seconds.
Precautions when using a UV lamp
To stay safe while working with a UV lamp, keep these key rules in mind.
- Protect the client’s eyes with special silicone pads or special tapes for UV lash extensions.
- Protect your own eyes from UV radiation with special safety glasses.
- Replace the LED head at the right time — an old head may shine weaker, meaning the adhesive won’t cure and your client may experience irritation.
- Ensure the lamp’s cables are in good condition and that the lamp itself stays free from dust.
