Recommendations for the Disinfection and Sterilization Process

I. Disinfection

Immerse the tweezers in a professional disinfectant solution intended for metal instruments so that they are completely covered by the solution. Always follow the concentration and contact time specified by the disinfectant manufacturer. After disinfection, rinse the tweezers thoroughly to remove any remaining disinfectant and prevent residue buildup.

II. Cleaning

After disinfection, clean the tweezers thoroughly either by hand using a soft plastic brush or in an ultrasonic cleaner.

III. Drying

Dry the tweezers completely before placing them into a sterilization pouch. Residual moisture is the main cause of corrosion when exposed to high temperatures.

IV. Steam Autoclave Sterilization

Sterilize the tweezers in a steam autoclave using paper-plastic sterilization pouches or sleeves, maintaining a temperature range of 110–135°C (according to your autoclave manufacturer's instructions and sterilization indicators).
