How do the OkO lamination steps work?
STEP 1 LIFT
The first step of lash lifting or brow lamination relaxes the hair structure. The solution works in an alkaline environment, breaking disulfide bonds and opening the cuticle so that active ingredients can penetrate deeply. This prepares the hair perfectly for the next styling steps.
STEP 2 FIX&VOLUME
The second step sets the new shape and rebuilds the hair structure. The solution works in an acidic environment, neutralising STEP 1 and restoring the natural disulfide bonds. As a result, the hairs gain elasticity and become more resistant to damage.
STEP 3 CARE&RECOVERY
The third step provides regeneration, shine and protection. The low-molecular-weight formula deeply nourishes the hair, normalises pH and works like a botox treatment — without the need for additional procedures.
Tip: STEP 3 CARE can also be used for daily lash and brow care after lamination. It creates a protective layer that strengthens and protects hairs until the next salon visit.
How to perform lash lamination with OkO products?
- Assess the hair structure — porous, medium-porous or highly porous.
- Remove makeup with an eye makeup remover.
- Degrease lashes/brows with a shampoo or saline solution.
- Apply STEP 1 LIFT using a brush or microbrush. For lash lifting, apply the product to the most convex part of the silicone pads. Spread a thin, even layer, minimising skin contact. You can use foil, but it’s not necessary. Processing time: 6–13 minutes, checking every 3–4 minutes. Remove the product with a dry cotton pad.
- Apply STEP 2 FIX&VOLUME, spread evenly and, if needed, adjust the hair positioning. Processing time: 5–12 minutes, without foil. Remove with a dry cotton pad.
- Between STEP 2 and STEP 3, you can perform tinting or corrections.
- Apply STEP 3 CARE&RECOVERY and leave on the hairs — no rinsing required.
